- Plain light-coloured background such as light blue or light grey; white background is prohibited by Service-Public guidance.
- Position and expression
- Face size must be 32 to 36 mm from lower chin to top of skull, excluding hair; head straight, face toward the lens.
- File or print note
- Use a sharp, clean, recent identity photo from an approved booth or professional when required.
